You don't need chaintugs. Most people cope fine without them. They probably make tensioning the chain a little easier but it's not exactly the hardest thing to do. As for the lever and caliper. Are you currently terrorising the people of perth on a brakeless fixed gear?

yeah, ive been ripping around perth with no brakes, to be honest its pretty stupid however.....infact i have no reason to defend myself, its stupid.
a bus driver pulled out in front of me when i was going down this road and i had to do my best to stop, almost went into the back of a bus.
i had shimano 105's on my bike in melbourne and they were amazing, ideally i want another one of them.

That's what I've got.
Brakeless isn't too bad in a small town I don't think. I cycle to work at 8am usually and most people aren't driving around then so I've done it brakeless a few times. Quite fun and the aesthetic of the bike is lovely but I do miss the stopping power of a front brake.
Anyway. I don't want to hi-jack this thread and turn it into a brakeless thread.

If your in Perth, Australia?
Wont it work out cheaper if you buy this stuff locally, even from regular bike shops?
If your mad keen to buy from far far away though, I have white bmx grips.
