Word and Excel documents

You could probably import it to a Google document and share a link to that if you make it public.

I'd rather people do that.

There are 2 sets of reasons for me not to allow uploads;
1) Viruses, malicious macros and other such things.
2) Microsoft monopoly and the reinforcing of the kind of underhand tactics they recently pushed through the standards bodies in an attempt to preserve their monopoly.

If #1 weren't enough, #2 would do it for me (and I do work for them!).

Use Google Docs and share a link. Then the content is format independent as Google Docs allows Open Office downloads of files uploaded in Word or Excel format.
