It's the silver vans you need to watch for... a few years back they all got paranoid and switched from white to this colour, on account of all the bad press white van guys were getting about them being rapists, child abductors etc. Now the backlash has begun. The respect they craved never arrived. The hot weather merely compounds their condition. As to race, I've no idea whether white van drivers are the more aggresive. Statistically speaking we're all more likely to fall off on a tuesday, that much I know, it's more or less a truism. Can you buy dust caps for a Sugino 75 crank in London by the way?
