1940's Lo-Pro (well, ish) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OLD-GENTS-BIKE-POSS-OLD-POLICEMANS-MAYBE-1940s-3-SPEED
I have to admit that I am very tempted- does that make me mentally divergent?

The dropouts are fine for conversionCheers rik, sadly I didn't get it as there was a rather high hidden bid on it - may have been a sneaky reserve I think. Oh well, just got meself a lovely vintage CB frame so all's well.

I just paid for these at BLB (and, for once, it was a happy bike shop experience)
While I was there they showed me an almost identical set, in pink (yes, PINK).
I jokingly offered them £7, but they'll be listed on the bay soon. -

well soorrrreeeeeee, been away for a week, you can hardly expect me to trawl all through 9 days of this gumpf, when supposed to be working.
Advice needed - am thinking of bidding on this as want to build up a beater - am a bit worried that it is still on min bid - is it one to avoid like the plague? Are the dropouts a problem for conversion?
