My fastest time is from The Coach and Horses in Brixton - Bow rd in Mile End in 27 mins.
It was on a Bank Holiday evening and I'd had just enough beers to boost my confidence in traffic whilst also numbing any pain in my legs. I also stopped en route to pick up a wallet that was lying in the road, so probably more like 26.5 mins ;)
My usual commute is the exact same route (actually 50m down the road. I don't work at the Coach + Horses) and I usually do it in 40 mins.
