FGSS holiday?

I dunno if this route would go anywhere near York but if it does my Dad will supply beer and BBQ. And possibly shelter if there isn't too many of us.

Techinically it goes no where near York but my basic thinking is get some nice views, brutal climbs, wicked descents and a lot of beer cramemd into some days away. We don't have to do the Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way, it was just an idea as it's a nice ride.

More Yorkshirelandian flat cap wearers on here than I thought, good to see our Yorkshire thriftiness in only shelling out for one gear had attracted you to our green and hilly part of the world.
Count me in for hooking up for some larks too, by eck it'll be grand.

I'm up for yorkshire, also up for cycling somewhere flat, and sunny (not that yorkshire isn't, on occasion, very pleasantly sunny of course!)
