it was mid afternoon and there wasnt much traffic, but i was pacing it pretty much constantly.

i have seen jonny ride, and it is true what they say about his dance/spin technique.

how fast i ride depends on how many traffic lights i have to stop at, innit.

tooting bec to goodge street = 31 mins (pb) avg 35-40 mins
sofa to fridge to sofa = 30 secs (pb)

OUTSTANDING & EXCEPTIONAL........so far:

dicki - Stratford (far side) -> Piccadilly, cnr of St.James Str..........21 minutes

danger_joel - Streatham Common -> Angel Tube Station...........22 minutes

I've been trying to break down danger_joel's ride in my mind, into 5 minute segments, but even imagining it, he still blows my bloody doors off!

As for dicki's ride.....that's just f*cking fast.

I could only do those times if I looked like the guy in this photo.

streatham common to angel tube station : 22 mins.

I would pay money to see that Streatham Common to Angel ride done again....in that time.

streatham common to angel is 14km. a 22min ride puts him at an average speed of 38km/h. that's average. if you can do that in traffic...

23mph is doable.
I've done Streatham to Tufnell Park in 31 minutes. That works out as 22mph

do any of you folks know a map program, kind of like g-map pedometer, on which you can plot multiple routes? I have about 7 permutations of my commute and it'd be a nice way to avoid doing any work this morning if I can plot them all on the same map and then find out all sorts of minutae about the different routes.
