  • I don't own a lock, so everywhere I go, the bike has to go in with me, or locks to someone else's. But the other day I had to meet someone, and because I could see it all the time, I left my bike outside Starbucks, leaning against the wall. It was secure-ish, as I'd tied a toeclip cable (wrong word?) through the back wheel, and the frame. Someone could shoulder it and run, but not ride.

    Clever, or stupid?
