The Katana Tsunami has to be the nicest made frame I have ever picked up, even peering down the tubes at the internal mitering within the seat cluster you can see the builder is possibly a little OCD when it comes to attention to detail. The finish is fantastic, the chroming on the lugs very nice too.
Mind you I have not had the chance to molest a Cinelli Olympic frameset which also looks pretty swish.

Agree on the Katana . . but i got shot down for pointing this out . . . that cinelli is the nuts, definitely the right choice over the condor.

Don't worry, just a bunch of tossers more worried about the name and image rather than the frame itself. ;P

now now tynan, take it easy there.
this thread is centred on an image of an unbuilt frame that was chosen on a whim instead of a condor classico pista.

Stunning, and I like the sound of the build parts too.
Would you call the decision in the shop a good example of Thin-Slicing then?

So ? My comments were are about the Katana frame.
"I always wanted the Lemon Cinelli Olympic with the chrome rear end" - doesn't sound like a whim to me. Have you also established that the Condor Classico was not chosen on a whim ?

lovely frame :-)
Cinelli super corsa pista. I always wanted the Lemon Cinelli Olympic with the chrome rear end. 2 years ago I made an order for a condor classico, going through the sizing, spec and completing the order with a bloke at Condor. Then when I went upstairs to pay and sign for it, some dude rolled in on a lemon Cinelli. Told condor I'd changed my mind, they were well pissed.
The new Pista has all the chrome, but the yellow is like 'curry' so they did me a special order in lemon. Total nightmare getting it done but now its here... and there's plenty of summer left!
