if it was really that easy it would be done already.
don't get me wrong i normally have no problems getting tyres on or or even very trick ones.
these rims just have me fucking stumped.
im going to measure them up tomorrow just to see if they are freak rims.
WTF are you all on about? use a little talc on the rim. get the tyre on as far round as it'll go (usually leaving about 4-6 inches of beading not over the rim). Stop. turn the tyre to the point opposite the section that is not on yet. Go back over the tyre, gripping hard and dragging it firmly away from this point and towards the last section. Do it again. When you get to the last section, it'll go on ok (with some force, but that's the point, you don't want your clinchers coming off easily).
If you use tyre levers of any sort, you're doing something wrong, and you'll get a pinch-flat before you even inflate the tube.
I've never come across a tyre I couldn't get on this way.
