Friday night, Merton Road, Wandsworth, outside the Earl Spencer/Gardeners Arms - bloke on a stealthy, slightly beaterish black Peugeot fixed with a rack and a bag strapped to the top of it the way I did when I was twelve... pulled an awesome 1-minute trackstand at the lights (though I'd have just blown through them!) Me and a buddy were sitting outside the Earl liking your style.

i spotted two today, one older bloke on a shit mountain bike, and one sort of hybrid guy, with a helmet and a worthy look about him. both gave me very friendly nods, as its further between cyclists out here.

Bloke on a light blue condor heading south from Stockwell (turned off b4 Clapham North) at 3ish today, and then a guy and gal on something black and something pink heading the other way. Didn't get a good view as I was driving my truck having put my worldly possessions in storage....

I thought the same thing only recently, is there really any point in telling people you saw fixed wheel rider with green Deep Vs ?

If I were to post up all the fixed wheel bikes I have spotted over the last few months I would be posting a hundred or so a week. We might as well have a black cab thread with people reporting where and when they spotted one.
