Youngs Bikes

Recently bought an old 10spd racer, the frame is marked up as a Youngs frame, I believe they were based in Lewisham.

Does anyone know anything else about them?

they're still in South London somewhere, I've ridden past the shop, I courierererered on one that was previously Matt Seaton's track bike.....was lovely 'til it snapped, was pretty old though.

it's not the same since they moved the brewery to charles wells in bedford.

There's still a Young bike shop in West Wickham. Could that be anything to do with the original frame makers ?
