    What I love is those pedal - where can I get those?? it would look great on my bike;

    [/QUOTE]
They are really slippery in the wet despite their octopus sucker good looks.

  • Now thats the Shiznit!!!!!! put some pepperjack on it, and I am all over it.

    DW

Crash into people & cook the remains.

    mmmm remains

  • These massive flanged Phils look good.

  • They're mad aren't they? Think they've been posted before... What the hell are they tho'?!?

  • it's also on a Bad Boy Ultra? cause all I found is "Wellgo dual-function w/alloy cage" pedals, not those nice unique looking one found on the Cannondale Raw bike.

edited; spoken too soon, found it, it's "Cannondale Octopus" as someone has pointed out to me, failing that, would you actually sell me those pedals from your Bad Boy Ultra?

Sorry, sold the piece of shit about 18months ago, though you're right, they are Cannondale Octopus pedals, very good and surprisingly comfy

  • How's Paris?

    Top banana mate!

Going through major cold turkey though - still bikeless and those Velibs look wank, no good for my street cred :-)

BUT I did find a shop where they sell original(I think?) Vision Street Wear clobber, bought a T for 25€, result! Gonna pop back soon to try and get some sneaks

I also live 200yds from L'Arc du Triomphe and I've developed a bit of an unhealthy obsession with it, got loads of photo's of it, see it twice a day too & from work - ace building. Better than having to wake up to kebab shops, newsagents, offy's and fucking Tesco Metro!

  • Who wants one of these bendy frames.. they is in lundun..

Where in London are these bendy frames of which you speak?

Yeah, I couldn't face getting on a Velib... Gf's not too good on the road anyway, so managed to steer clear this time...

I found a little place on Rue Keller that had loads of Vision stuff in the window, all closed the weekend we were there tho'... Some red/white/blue hi-tops particularly caught my eye...

Sounds like you're in a good spot, sort the bike(s) out tho' mate!!! ;)

  • Rue Keller, really, whereabouts is that? The one I found was on Rue Etienne Marcel opposite Killiwatch and next to some poncey, wankey Japanese sneak shop called Shinzo, sells re-issue Jordans V, VI(with the jumpman/23 on the heel, NOT 'Nike Air') for 300€ plus and Safari's for the same price! WTF!!?

  • Mr pistanator (if that is your real name) dt, hops, slamm and myself shall be visiting Paris in mid to late July.it would be cool to meet up for a drink.

  • Aidan, I've met you twice in The Coach & Horses, Je m'appelle Graham :-)

I should hopefully still be here, I'm suppose to be here til last week of July/first week of August TBC

PS - you couldn't bring my bike over for me could you??!

Let's call Mark at Phil Wood sales, my favourite person right now, he's bloody helpful! He'll know.

He's having a 70s steel-and-alu three piece bolt-on road hub built for me! For cheap!

I'm still grinning a week after he told me he'd fix it

i know we've met! and i know what your real name is...the Parisian air seems to effect your brain.
well i suggest you give me your number so when i get there i can give you a call.i have some room going spare in my panniers...enough room for your bike i think.

In Bastille, just off Rue de la Roquette... Didn't get a chance to go in tho', so the rest of the stuff in there may be pony... Also FYI nice bistro/bar at the top of Rue Keller (opposite end to R/Roquette) on the right hand corner... Good grub, reasonably priced...

Just checked on the map, will try and check it out.
Some good food places I've checked so far:

La Famille - Rue du Trois Frere, next to Sacre Couer
Hotel Du Nord - forget the street, near the canal, 9th arondissement - wicked restuarant
Chez Janou - Ace, ace, ace! www.chezjanou.com. Famous for its pastis, offers over 80! I was larupped on absinth on Saturday night!
KONG - Phillipe Starck designed restaurant above the Kenzo store on Pont Nuef. Bit poncey but good grub. Was in SATC apparently last series....

  • Next time I will say Beavis...

  • Oh, I see...it does look like beavis...I haven't had my coffee yet...

  • Wow brian! Your Rossin build is really coming along nicely.
