Most others have already been mentioned, such as Elite, Commando, Gauntlet, IK+, Summer/Winter Games, Daley Thompsons Decathlon* etc. Used to love the fact that while the game was loading you could read the instructions, then get stuck straight into it. Nowadays some instruction booklets are like novels.

• ON DT Decathlon for the C64, it you threw your javelin up at 90 degrees it came back down stuck into the bottom of a satellite with CCCP written on the side!
