Aha! Finally spotted, you were on a conversion, something blue and single speed?
That junction's always such a zoo!

I always go to the right of the traffic on the far side of the junction (I don't like being squeezed up against the parked vehicles on the left). Then I have to work my way past cars which are too busy trying to avoid all the cyclists on their left. I usually hang back, let everyone get sorted out and then blast off down the road once everything's finally cleared up.

In other words, I'd be sociable further down the road, but not right by the junction.
I'll keep an eye out for you next time!!!

Mr pink wheels is pretty quick actually, faster now he's gone clipless.
