is it wrong and sick that I'm quite amused by the thought of herds of disc-wheeled cyclists being blown up buildings and across pavements by their wind-catching wheels?! Seriously though, one gust of wind and what a bad idea it all suddenly seems...

also some nice boy on a nice bike overtaking me - hence the vagueness of the details - about 9.30pm last night on new/old kent road who I'll forgive for 'niiice biiike' comment (c'mon, it's not really) simply because he was so lovely about it. hello, whoever you are!
