  • Damnit, lo-pro overdosage..
I've had my lo-pro frame sitting about for two years and just getting round to building it up.. along with THE REST OF YOU!
On the bright side, I did pick it up when you could buy a sweet italian curvy frame for £40 on the bay, and a 650 wheel for a fiver.. and it'll probably be the only one in B'town.

not so i'm afraid crank, i've got two... one simoncini and a concorde. not the most practical town bikes, but so very fast!

  • My current project is saving the money to buy an FBM Sword, then totally enslave it. Gonna have to have bmx pivotal post and saddle, stem, maybe some super low bmx race bars?

    Hmmmm, student overdraft opportunity

  • Ah Mike - I gave some **serious **thought to getting that off Roberto. Glad it went to a good home.

Dang we've got similarly good taste in bikes.

lol. Yes its nice. I had some money last month and wanted to get something different. I like bright coloured things. Everything on it will be chrome. Thats all I know. Never ridden a bike with drops before know nothing about stems etc. Dont even know what size stuff I need to get for it.

  • your yellow number on sun, was worse :p

  • Hey All,

Heads up! I'm currently working on a sneaky little plan to get gear from USofA to London, cheaper than most.

Let me know if there be parts that you're wanting.
Also, feel free to exploit me while I'm here. (I'll exploit you back) I'm in the very bike happy land of Madison WI.

For vintage, nagasawa, or other hard-to-find stuff check out Yellow Jersey here.

Did you see how I cleverly managed to attract ALL of the bugs thereby ensuring you a more pleasant and bug free afternoon? Yeah...taking one for the team baby!

  • why did you put jonny there?

  • why did you put jonny there?

    LOL :)

  • My new project: The Bridgestone.

Pictured here with loads of cheap shit parts I had laying around.
I took it to Herne Hill on Sunday and riding back the cranks all but fell off!

Need: NEW CRANKS (Sugino or Dura Ace), Nitto seatpost, Dura Ace hubs/Araya rims, new chain, etc, etc,

  • Yeah, they're going on it for now. Til I can afford the real deal.
Then they either go on the beater or I offer them to you.

  • Is that a kashima(x) saddle?
Not comfy- trust me (I've been there?)

  • No it's a Brookes Vitesse 600.
I was planning to change for a Kashimax or something NJS. Are they really bad?

  • more to follow...

  • not grumpy, quite happy today - hence laughter on the previous page.

lo-pros look nice, but the current hipster trend is beyond ridiculous.

  • oh god, so uncomfortable. It'll tear you a new arsehole.

  • Low profiles are going to be the ubiquitous mode of fixed wheel transport at this rate. I might have to go back to the alf webb! (with a 650c front wheel, obviously)

  • Projects?
Cleaning all the mud out of the S-Works after the various river crossings necessary yesterday.
Selling the Raleigh to a yank for £700
