Nah, I'd be the only gay on the hill.

Can gay's not mix from different events then? is a trackie gay unsuitable to a tester gay?!
-
• #154
They would probably have an incompatible approach to love-making.

http://www.timetriallingforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=20593&st=45Brilliant . . there getting their lycra in a twist because someone entered a HHSB into a time trial . . would have loved to have seen that
Lycras fine if thats what you want to rock, i just cant stand the fully TDF replica hedge fund boys doing their 3 mile commute from chelsea to mayfair dressed head to toe in the sh!t . . best feeling in the world is stuffing them on a straight on a ss/fixed.

i don't know what's the most absurd? wearing casual clothes on a brakeless track bike on the road or lycra on a fixed road bike.
whatever you wear you all look like tossers gagging for a reacharound to peds and car drivers

I have to wear my old "once" lycra shorts because I can't afford £150 for a pair of shins or wotever they calls them.
-
• #159
I wear lycra shorts but wear mountain bike ones on top. Does this mean I am closet gay?
-
• #160
I think its gay only if you touch another mans penis while wearing it

IMHO it's all about common sense - if you do lots of cycling you kinda know what's appropriate wear. I usually go full roadie lycra when getting the miles in on my road bike, a mankini when doing tri and usually a t-shirt and cargo shorts with cycling shorts under them when planking around on my fix/ss.
the folk who get it arse-about-face and also the ones who'd make inappropriate use of serif typefaces, clipart and animated gifs - so it's very little to do with being gay or not.
the true sign of being gay is either riding a mountain bike with tribars or wearing pants under your lycra - though offenders of the first will usually be doing the second too.

A knew a guy who fitted tri bars to his £80 halfords special full-susser. Looked ace :D
-
• #164
I'm going to fit tri bars to my BMX.
-
• #165
i got 'em on my shopper :)
@plingboot, it is as you said just common sense.
and up to the rider. -

unicycle tri bars are going to be the next big thing just you wait.

if you see someone wearing black leggings that aren't meant for cycling and are actually see-through in certain lighting conditions should you tell them?
They were clearly wearing a thong underneath.. Should I try and spot them tomorrow aswell? -
• #168
i have been behind a chap in black leggins... and yes they do go see-through, revealing his tattoo, ass moustache and muffin top.
At this time i was also in lycra (a better made, better fitting brand and under my casual shorts) but didn't rush to over take. should i be concerned?? -
• #169
the only reason i am concerned, is you followed him 15 miles further than you had too.
-
• #170
^ sexy-time. it must be a West London thing.

It took a few miles to realise i wasn't approaching a tunnel. ;)
We should get into the now, open a can of new school on london riders asses and wear skinny jeans, pointless straw hats and ponchos... or have they already done that in hoxton??
-
• #174
Does it mean you are gay if you let two lesbians spit roast you?
-
• #175
it means you're lucky
Are you sure thats not you bmmf? You did seem to get more friendly when me and pete got the lycra out.........
