Am currently building one that will be pricey, but less than my priciest.
bikes in the past have ranged from my hack (£120) to my Bob Jackson - both now sold.
Over the year my total expenditure of bikes has totally balanced out. Now I only have 1 fixed though, and that was not cheap, but 'worth every penny.
Am currently about to receive a polo bike for £28, though, so less than 100 could be broken with ease. And am speccing up a replacement for my bob jackson, which won't be more than £700 in total (due to parts I have lying around).
My day to day at the moment is a full pantographed super-record moser 10 speed though.
Everything I have bought and then sold has basically evened out, maybe minus £50- which is good.
And I'm basically done buying bikes. I have what I want and I have to get rid of some. Watch this space.....
