This has got to be a wind up ? Assuming it is not . . .
Hussy get a front brake, you might be fine flying around on 49/16 breakless without the skill to skid stop - regardless of how proud you are of your legs - but if you loose it on London's streets it is not only your pride that is at risk - a cyclist ploughing into a pedestrian or, god forbid, a child who runs out into the road (it happens and it happens a lot around my way) and takes a fractured cheek bone or shattered eye socket will not be seen in a good light when the police find you have sacrificed basic safety to avoid compromising your image or the look of your bike.
If pride in your skill to ride breakless is all important to you - then put a brake on and only use it when you need to.
