They will charge for stripping the parts off (bb, bars etc etc) or not do it. but they strip the frame as part of the service - you could also get them to remove any braze ons and seal it?

what colour do u wanna do?
i will get my frame power coated in white sometime nextweek
should be cheaper to do them together (given that u want your frame in white too) -

provenrad - sheldon who? ;-)
brian - cheers, not doubt you won't understand my madness but I don't want white... i know, my loss! Also, I'm working such long bloody hours (apart from when I'm not avoiding work on here) that I literally wanna drop my steed off in one piece, get the re-respay done, then pick thing back up again in one piece... as quick as poss too as only got the one bike and need it every day

just a quick question
is it possible to put sticker decal on after powder coating, and then another clear coat over the decal?
or do i have to wet paint it?
thanks in advance -

I'm pretty sure you can clear coat over dry powder coat.
I put my decals on after powder and clear and they are fine though. -

thres is no lazy way to properly spray anything as far as i know. If you fail to sand properly before and in-between coats, the paint will peel off like sunburnt skin. Powder coat is teh answer.

maybe ask matt (smallbrownbike) really nicely?
if it want a re-spray but don't have the ability/tools/time to strip the bike down before and put it back together after, does anyone know any paint shops that can offer to do this for the right £s?
p.s. anyone know armourtec's phone number? ;-)
