What happened to your frame? I am feeling the pain as my forks were fucked on Saturday nights ride and I am awaiting a new pair. I had to get the tube to work and back yesterday. What fucking nightmare. Got back on the MTB today for the first time in 8 months. Man did it feel weird. Cant believe I rode that bike for 5 years!!

Was cycling along the thames path at rotherhithe on saturday night. Suddenly this step appears from nowhere. Was going too fast to take evasive action. Managed to jump a bit of it but bottom of wheel slammed straight into it. Wheel and tyre was fine but the forks bent about 7degrees back. Replacement due by end of week under warranty so no harm done really. Deep V rims are well strong though
