I've just been to see the site (and also cycled through burgess park on my way home, which is about 200 yards away).
The garden's massive, enough space for all the childish games we can think of. It'll hold lots of us easily, has toilets, a kitchen and a padded floored area for pisumo... plus space for the BBQ / sound system blah.

I take back my previous comment, count me in. CB let me know if you need a hand with anything.

I'm loving this idea.
The only problem is that ironically that weekend is the weekend that I hold big parties in Brixton for the closure of my other really large forum (which I'm shutting on it's 10th anniversary).
So I might not even be able to come along.
Do it though. Sounds awesome.

Well, we did pick that weekend out of a hat, it being one of the one few ones that doesn't clash with major summer events (notting hill, other FGSS stuff etc.). We'll save you a sausage, or come and crash your party.
(the building's also got fire extinguishers)

Ha!
I'm doing the london triathlon the day after going to a festival- and then this (if it is on the tenth)
briliant. Frank- I'm guessing you are doing the team one?So my festival will be entirely sober!

I have a friend who works for Cuervo.
Tequila anyone?!? -

Yeah this sounds like great idea, but would it not be better in a park? then we have room to run round and play silly child like games??? some lovely people with a fantastic new warehouse might be up for having the after party???
the thing about park, I has no idea if we need some sort of permit to host a large party? especially with BBQ and such.

brilliant!nah, not the team one, doing the individual, but sprint rather than olympic (because im a pussy) think thats on the 9th, got about 400 quid running on bets with various friends so can spunk all the cash on booze for this, provided i finish in a timely manner.
only started training today tho, so i wouldnt hold yer breath. -

it is on the 9th for the sprint- did one of those last year. You should find it fun, it is (honest).
Also it's addictive so watch out. -

+1 for jerk! Mmmmmm, slobber, burp!
I may even prepare some of my own jerk chicken, to a secret recipe.
Top idea. CHUG_IT you must bring the 50 gallon mothership of BBQs, it must be done!
