Let me know when you're planning a Kent run (from Crystal Palace hook-up spot?).

Spotted - a courier getting knocked off by a right turning taxi at the Old Street roundabout. Bike & rider looked okay, but a bit pissed off.
Also spotted, Condor charging £1.99 for steerer shims :(
-
• #3983
That's cheaper than the £14 they wanted to charge me for a pair of grubby campag crank bolts!
-
• #3984
Crankenstein, setting some land speed record up Castlebar Rd. tonight as I walked home (rest day).

I saw snowy-again (Ithink) at Loughborough Junction on a Joe Waugh around 7:15pm
and a guy on a Langster(I think), green Deep-V front and white arrospok rear going from Herne Hill towards Brixton around 9:15pm. Was sat behind him for a bit, think he thought I was following him.

Just saw Object as my gf and I were leaving Vic Park. I was preaching the joys of beers in the park, he was complaining about having to actually work (rather than drinking beers in the park).

" Girl strugling to stop on a white frame with flats, and nobrake waterloo bridge"

fully lycraed up man on a what looked like a titanium dekerf mtb all the way from Greenwich to Tower bridge putting in some serious effort nodding away. Brightened up my morning.
Sunday @ polo, Max actually spotted this one I think, brakeless single speed, Ted Shread would be proud.

Matt was telling me about this and I was convinced no one would be that silly. So it's true!
Also I've seen at least two girls wheeling (not riding) their brakeless rides with flat pedals.:o

i keep seeing the same (aussie looking?) guy commuting the "wrong way" between kilburn high road and oxford circus. long-ish hair, bmx helmet, lime green frame, risers, no brakes. wheelied across marylebone road into the park this morning. if you're on here, i'm the guy on the genesis flyer with an orange and pink bag who keeps nodding at you as we pass on the outer circle. s'up.

it was 9.49am
i think a slight north westerly wind (it was that much of a moment)
on the junction of Farringdon and Clerkenwell Road
an absolute stunner on a suitably attractive grey / black hybrid heading north
couldn't decide which was the more attractive... -
• #3998
oh and then i think - only met the guy once about 2 mnths ago, if my sources are correct , (ta Skully) it was Turd Ferguson a little further up Clerkenwell heading East...
