ok you lot, give as good as got, you really are a bunch of tossers it seems. thank god i don't live in london.
chillipepper, ignore them, I am not one of those who feel the need for you to go through some sort of social ritual before you are given tacit permission to show us what you have for sale.
And as for the rest of the sacrilege mob and the 'how dare you convert that bike it should be in a museum not ridden' outraged forumengers - none of them are actually that bothered, certainly not enough to buy the frame and restore it to the way they will tell you it should be.
Bike looks nice by the way.

I would like to take part in this forum being a fixed gear fan, pressures of work and riding/racing don't leave much time to idle away online I'm afraid. Having seen the responses tho not sure I'd miss much...

its mostly a joke, and a bit of hazing, harmless really.
allot of people don't like people who sell stuff on their first post, and there is a running joke that converting a classic road frame kills puppies.

I know, I can understand attitude. It's just that I am not good at chit-chat and webforums are locked out at work so I have a choice with free time... go riding or sit in front of a PC. I'm off out riding now anyway... I suppose if I decided to show you my fixed TT bike i'd get called a twat too :o)
(have dropped it to £220 by the way, having decided to sell I want it to go quick before i change my mind)

i'd have taken it if it was 3 or 4 cm bigger. I hate dogs anyway so a few less puppies is no biggie.
Enjoy the abuse - it means they care about you. Possibly.

hey, no - sorry, it sold.

nice bike, i think the whole killing puppies thing is pathetic also.
people should realise that to someone new to the forum an immediate slating of their bike and what they have worked hard on for months is very rude and confrontational.
i do understand it is all fun and games but people are obviously taking it the wrong way and at the end of the day they should be supported for riding a bike and being of the fixed persuasion in the first place.

dont want to seem preachy and up tight, just a little concerned that people are being given a bit of a bad impression of fixed riders. that is all.
Awwwww come on! NOW i really wanna see it :)
