Bike Polo European Cup 7,8 June 2008

Hello to all you urban polo artists out there.

For your interest I have the delight in bringing you the news that the English leg of the Bike Polo European Cup will be held on the 7th & 8th June in Kent.

Teams from France, Scotland, England and Ireland will be competing in this the first leg of 3 for the season. Others to be held in Scotland and France.

Up for this but will have to get my head round you crazey ammount of rules. "o" and get some knobley tyres on the beast as it will be on grass right?

The dates are the 7th & 8th June Saturday and Sunday.

oh yes its on grass. Rugby pitch sized grass too.

Not sure if it is an open tournament. I Will have to find that out with the organisers. But still, if not it is worth a look just to see the French juggling the ball on their mallets. While peddling of course.

How many per team on a rugby pitch?

There are 5, 4 outfield and one in the firing line!

So anyone actually gunna go?

Hopefully will get confirmation from 2 more Frence teams.

Would be nice if you urban boys could raise at least 1 team. I beleive invitation went out to the appropriate people.
