Are you, like me, new to the beautiful, life-affirming phenomenon that is fixed wheel cycling? Perhaps you are recently back in the saddle after a period of illness or injury. Maybe you are lazy f*cker. Does a ride to Cambridge just seems a "bit much"?
Whatever the reason, I'd like to put forward the idea of a fairly easy-going ride out someplace, i'm eastside so I propose something like a tootle out Epping Forest way or something like that. Just a few hours, nothing too crazy, a chance to put a few faces to names and go for a good spin. Am away next weekend so maybe the weekend of 31st/1st June?
Having never organised anything like this before i'm totally open to suggestion and would definately appreciate some tips from the more experienced members about getting something like this on the road. In fact i'm sure we'd love to have some of the more experienced members of the forum along for some back-up!
It seems the protocol is to start a list so if you're up for it drop your name on and we'll see where we're at.
Cheers.
