Chris, here in the UK we say 20/5 not 5/20. Day/Month/Year. There is a logic to expressing the increasing power from left to right - the way we read. The American system is horse shit, a little like expressing 6:30:12 (30 minutes and 12 seconds past 6 o'clock) as 6:12:30. :)
