Just remembered that one of them did compliment me on my spoke cards . . . they told me the reason they were there was because they had received complaints from mothers with push chairs of 'reckless cycling attitudes' . . . they were not happy when i pointed out the lack of young mothers with prams at 10.30pm on a Thursday evening in the rain
