Pete what about second hand frames, how is the market?

What could be in the cheap? $800 is not in my budget, but I know the people that for £180 had got a frame from Japan.

ill ask around some of the locals, but yeh, would really have to go to the races and buy at the carboots they have there (apparently).. the next local race isnt for months.

the japanese version of ebay is yahoo market, and, well, its all in kanji/hiragana and rather scary.

From what ive seen, the locals ride Vivalo/Panasonic/Soma/Surly.... not really as much Keirin on the street. Lots of arrospok tho!
