yeh. they stopped the panty vending machines.. although, in Tokyo, im sure you could find some easily.

Out it Kobe, its all rather more 'normal'.... beer in vendinmachines is ALWAYS good though.

I lived in Tokyo in 2005, and you can't get them anymore. I asked a lot of people about them too - perhaps specialist shops in Kabuki-cho (in Shinjuku) have set up contrived vending machines to replicate the situation though, I'm not sure. You certainly can't get them on your average Tokyo street.
