@scwoocher: I would say, as a casual observer, that the aerospoke seems, here at lfgss towers, to be a heavy, unrepairable, plastic (with a deep v secreted inside it), expensive thing, somehow symbolic of victimhood. But it's not worth getting into a paddy about it.
Some people love em, and why should they not? If it makes their bike get ridden, its all good. They look fly, I suppose. I'm more into 'classic' looking parts myself... silver things, no powdercoating or anodized anything, vintage whatnot, gumwall tyres, saddlebags, brooks, all that jazz. Some people here hate that 'obsolete' stuff, too.
Some people like trying to get a rise out of people, (and all of them are on this forum). Like jonny said to me the other night, this forum has brought a lot of people together ... who really shouldn't be together.
