Hopefully it'll be better than the first one (ducks and runs for cover).
…True though. -

Subtract 8 inches from the wheels and 15 years from the tricks.
Thats not a wallride, this is a fucking wallride

20/24/26 is where the skills are. anything else is circus tricks on clown bikes

Some guy on Bike Forums said it best about the whole (boring) BMX debate "People having fun always beats people hating on people having fun."

but fun or not videoing it thinking it's worth watching is still a bit lame.
youtube is full of rad moves busted out by small wheelers that make fixed tricks laughable
yes enjoy riding your bike just don't try and convince me 700c 'street' is 'the bollocks' it isn't it's just 'bollocks'
(all IMHO) :-) -

it's pure aesthetics right?

Sometimes its fun to make something do something its not designed to do, but its more fun to take something to the limit of what its designed to do - i like the videos of fixed riders going hell for leather through urban enviroments, but find tricks on a 700c no matter how well done boring - leave that sh!t to the circus crowd, and give me some 20/26 action any day.

shit's def.

700c holds the potential for real speed. MASH had that, even if the 'park' style tricks are all just a bit of play.

i agree with a lot of that. but i still think its good fun and agree with Conan.

To all the haters.
What one person thinks is worth watching is not what another person thinks is what is worth watching. This is the beauty in diversity. I think it is fucking ridiculous that some people watch a load of yobs kick a small ball around a pitch for 90 min, but what they do is up to them. It makes many poeple happy to watch a film of football. You may only want to watch a video of BMX / mtb (which I personally agree is more interesting) but don't shit on someone else just because they want to watch a fixed gear video, you don't have to watch it.

This next bit is at no one person in particular.
There seems to be a lot of hate in the forum recently. People hating things that are "Hipster" or just non traditional just for the sake of being anti cool. People seem taking pride in trying to be as un-new-wave-fixed-wheel culture as possible and seemingly worrying that they may be mistaken for a hipster. This is just as bad as someone getting obsessed over being cool and color matching their condom / grip / chain to their socks / saddle / butt plug and hating anyone who doesn't color match. Whatever side of the fence you sit get over yourself if you're worrying what other people are classifying you as.

If people keep using bikes for things other than their intended purpose, there'll be anarchy!
If we don't put a stop to it RIGHT NOW, where will it end? People using track bikes on the road?
It's madness, I tell you, madness.

you have a lot of 'hate' bottled up there, it's better to let it out.
-
• #24
Nope.. hating on people having fun is just as fun as having fun. Nyer!

If you do it with a sense of humour, yes...
