yeh I wanna ask, if your cycling for long spells, do your feet get sore as there is not much support for your feet on clipless eg. shimano m540 pedals. i am nearly finished my build of new bike, I always preferred platform pedals for freestyling but on fixed, what is a good pedal for tricks and things naughty.
I switched to clipless because my manly feat couldn't fit on my womanly MKS pedals. I was getting tingly pains in the half of my foot hanging over the pedal on any ride over 5 or so miles. With clipless I have a nice stiff sole that supports all of the foot (although I was getting tingly feet on the Cambridge ride near the end... I think it was because my feet were swelling and I needed to loosen the shoes).
