Funny thing is that he said that after spouting all his entirely fictional piffle about the 'threatening behaviour act' (which, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't exist). There have been some test cases around online harassment, but as far as I know it's virtually impossible to commit assault online (as in, put someone in fear of immediate injury) because you're not physically there (as in, there's no immediacy in it).
I suspect that if he posted a bunch of pictures of people and made intimations of the potential for violence you might be able to get him ASBO'd off the forum, though I doubt it has ever been tried before. If he did it long enough there might be harassment.
Anyway, I'm just musing on the legal issues, no real point to make...
