In preparation for the track day, I've been pondering whether to ride my own bike or use a hire bike. Changing the back cog to give myself a decent gear is not a problem, I'll do that home, HTFU and then ride to HH. Reading the rules on the VCL website however, it says that you must remove any brakes, and I was wondering how much "removal" is required. Would taking the blocks out count? or do you need to take the entire caliper off?
