really? it's the other way round for me.
when the forum first started and there was about five of us, it was meant as somewhere for people to come if they fancied a ride/chat without having to feel like they needed to be in a club or wear team kit, or even have any number of miles under their belts.
I've definitely done more (road) riding as a result of this forum, and coming from a bmx/mtb background it was good to meet likeminded people who wanted to ride.
club racer, bmx'er, commuter, whatever, just people who want to step out of their front door and go off on their bike, no trains, no cars and no expensive bullshit
