  • the noddys fuckin rule.

I love them. make the ride more interesting and hurt less than vans when/if they hit you.

and as for this crock of shit, ;-) ha, i love it. this is why this forum is great cos people can fool around and joke and take the piss if they want to. once i found out what H.T.F.U meant, i applied it to most of the stuff on here. er, except the serious stuff yea.

  • but i like riding in traffic and i think im capable of it. some arent, so perhaps shouldnt be there for everyones sake till they are safe.

    okay, fair point.

But how, exactly are people meant to learn how to be safe? By riding round cones in a playground????

    Practice makes safer?

  • alright stompy, not sure why you quoted me on that bit but hey. like i said, im not really someone to tap someones bar if they are on the wobble already. read what i wrote and quote me proper if you want to. and you are right, london traffic isnt a joke, but i like riding in traffic and i think im capable of it. some arent, so perhaps shouldnt be there for everyones sake till they are safe.

I apologise for this. I was over-inflamed by 50/14's post; and I was going post about the elitism bit. My comment wasn't directed at you. I'll delete that post.

I've had a few beers now and I've taken a step back.

    Friends?

  • yea practise makes safer but only if you practice the right stuff. im not saying unsure cyclists shouldn't be on the roads, period. but its a big step eh, coming from nothing to london roads which are mad crazy. quiet roads exist, so does a whole load of information about good pracitice if you wanna look. ridng round cones in a playground doesnt make safer but it does provide a good starting point for those folks who find it hard to control their bike. its a step in the process. there are organisations throughout the uk who will help both kids and adults learn about cycle road safety. they'll help you devise a commute route or whatever you want and break it down so you learn what where and why you are doing what you are doing. hence matey boys mention of the driving test. no fucker wants drivers who havent got a clue out on the roads. personally i think the same goes for cyclist, pedestrians, motorcylcist etc etc. and we all know us lot are more vulnerable out there so if hordes of crap riders go up so do accidents i imagine. and thats shit all round. solidarity for the fucked over rider is great and encouraged, but we as road users do have a role in our own safety. granted, there are occasions when whatever experience you have isnt gonna help but if you only have one major off in your life cos you ride well and safe, its better than ten cos you ride like a spanner. i know what i'd choose.

  • Friends?

pah, whatfriends... ;-) no apology needed, its all good.

    what do you mean?

    Noddys fuckin rule.

    I stand by this.

  • dont wobble or i might give you a nudge as i pass by....

  • nudge away, I'm not like a fruit machine, no money will pop out

  • yeah you have to pull the stick to get cash out of RPM

  • Nudge me.. I dare ya.

  • Nudge me.. I dare ya.

Despite presenting a large target, I'd miss you if I tried; by virtue of how much slower than me you'd be going.

  • You're back on the lsd again then? Tripper.
Coz you're obviously not of this dimension. :P

  • I don't need 4 dimensions to accomodate me.
