ive ridden up steeper hills on my bmx.
I can see why you might need it in Norway though, for old/fat people at least.
Would be a breeze to ride up that hill fixed, so I dont think anyone would want to try using the lift fixed - thatwould be funny!

I like the simplicity..
Can you imagine if they built one of them in London? It would have a team of polo-shirted attendants, branding all over it, recorded instructions, a lot more safety tat, and probably a gift-shop
