What size frame is it, scrapper? I may be very very very interested. Looking for a 53, 54 maximum.
Also is the headset 1 inch or 1 1/8th?
Also, just out of curiosity, what kind of wheels are they?
PM me or check the mobile no's thread in private for me number.

Edit
Talked with edwin, he's after a more classic (lugged/threaded forks etc) frame. Sorry to waste your time marc.

Hiya, I'm pretty (very) interested, just a coupla things: 1: what are the hubs? 2: what's the frame? you say it's a USA import, is it an IRO or similar? i'm presuming it's steel, is that right....?
-
• #9
Hubs, are no name brand as is everything on the bike.
Frame see above, yes it's a steel frame
On-one have some good hubs you could swap them out for £15ea
This is not a high quality bike i don't want to bullshit anyone on here,
Basically you are getting what you pay for and thats £200 for a new bikeBut its a good place to start your fixed/single speed revolution

I'm not sure you'd call a Light Show Ricky classic..

It was early in the morning and it was the first Edwyn Collins picture google images came up with! I can't help myself, so i'm going to rip it up and start again, never seen a bike like this before [i must stop the crap puns]...

Hi
Just sent you a PM, but can i also just question your sizes? that top tube length (52cm) seems v.short for a 55cm c-c seat tube, are those really the right sizes? or is the seat tube length measured from center to top?
-
• #13
Yeah it is the correct sizing , measured twice
the Seat tube maybe is 1cm shorter. but the Top tube is shorter than the S-T for sure. -

I have a maple rickenbacker 330. :) Definitely more classic than those lightshow ones.

Did you actually brought that bike off a bloke near the railway bridge on portobello road during the market for £200 exactly?
-

:d

Ha. Saw those at brick lame market too.
Love the 'Rainbow' rims. -
• #19
you mean brick lane market in general or the Brick Lane Bike? cause I'm thinking of swapping my converted Peugeot fixie for one, especially since it's a track frame already.
-

don't waste your time with these bikes your better off trawling ebay for a new frame

that the thing, I find it cheaper to start fresh again, the frame itself look reasonably decent and then slowly build the bike up with proper part than trying to find a frame and spend age trying to get the right part for it (thus, leaving me with an unridable bike for a week or even a month, I can only afford one bicycle in my life).
-

but you'll be swapping the whole thing in 2 weeks. Don't bother.
Buyers remorse and the reality of not really having the space or time to do what i had planned in my head with this means me getting rid of it.
Im not going to bullshit you it's fitted with pretty crap parts but for £200 it's still pretty good. Suit someone 5'8" +
Im kensel green/ladbroke grove based.
