Sat 10th May - London to Cambridge

ok so the weather has been good this week and on the way to southend some of us were up for both ways

Does anyone want to do it for this ride, with the longer days and better weather it is likely that more people would be up for it

I like to have a good few beers once I get to the destination and this sort of precludes riding back. So I would have to say not me!

The two recommendations from a local that I have for pubs are - Henry's & The Anchor - both on the river. Anyone know those?

The anchor is a great old pub right on the river, but it is not very big and gets exceptionally busy at the weekends. Especially if it is hot, which it should be.
