Yeah I saw you squeeze in between the bus and the footpath outside Selfridges, myself and my brother both admired your bravery and luck.

caught in the act then,
I actually consider myself to be rather thoughtfull, but might have got carried away for the sake of art.
but was the bus close in coming on the sidewalk for 100m or so, or why was that brave/lucky/stupid ? -

thanks Chris, in return for the anti wobble I refixed the poor mans cam mount for you.
Isnt it obvious that its landscapy?Cheers !! (Actually it was me asking, not Chris)
Yes it is obviously landscape, but I imagined it sticking out the side of your helmet for some reason - it all makes sense now !! :)
One final trick for stable video, use a wide angle lens, the wider the better - for your camera that would be one of those magnetic stick on ones.

-
• #31
all things must pass ? yeah, thanks I was scared shitless as the dozends of timelapse clips kept piling in my ipod on the road ! it was priceless data by the end.
only while traveling one takes the time to watch one thing for an hour (6s = 1h) -
• #32

Is this in Final Cut ?Chris the track is from Jake the Rapper, the man is live twice as good
cheers, liking his stuff

my everyone in london looks like they are in a hurry. i think you might have run a red at some point..maybe not sure.
tip for your helmet wobble. small sandwich bag (double bagged!) of flour in between the cam and the helmet. Works better than a bean bag, but sand works good too.)
-
• #35
interesting skoota, a sock filled with sand is used when shooting a rifle from prone, you squeeze the sock to raise your barrel a bit, and it helps dampen the vibration in your hand.
-
• #36
thanks skoota
I will try that next time.I already have some idea for a series of night rides.
so watch out for more -
• #37
Dan i really want you to bring that helmet cam to polo.

The 'hyde' one is an m4v file (MPEG-4 stream) the rest are .flv (flash).

yes but i want to learn things.
:D
You need to install some additional QuickTime components (additional to those that come as standard on your Mac) that cover all the codecs out there.
Installing Flip4Mac WMV and Perian should cover you for everything:

Ahhh ! :)
What you should be able to deduce from my post is that your computer will play flash files but not raw MPEG-4 streams - so you should look around on the computer superhighway for a plug-in/extension/component (multi-choice nomenclature) that will allow you to play raw MPEG-4 stream.
Ya' get me ?
thanks tynan, in return for the anti wobble I refixed the poor mans cam mount for you.
Isnt it obvious that its landscapy ?
imagine how dumb it looked on my head !
Yes Nicolas I had a trial-run on Saturday, but this released ride was done on Sunday.
You saw me ?
