One possible scenario though, from past experience, is that the driver did stop but you waved them off in a concussed state saying you'd be fine. I've done this before and the next day really fscking regretted not getting their details, etc. Just an option to consider given your memory loss. Those cnuts still should've traded details if they hit you and taken you to a frickin' hospital or something so yours is a more serious case by far (I could still cycle after my accident).

Yup, 95% percent certain there was a sticker in the rear window as I passed the outside of him before the lights 75yds or so before the accident. Bit of a blur still though.

Hi new here but a rider I know had an accident last week (driver turned in to him), he said he can get the traffic camera footage on request, there will definately be traffic cameras along Chiswick high rd . I agree with Dogsballs probably a pco driver, most Mercedes are.

Fucking hell, Sam, some good luck is well overdue. Hope everything gets resolved satisfactorily, and you've no lasting complications.

I was riding down Farringdon Rd to Herne Hill this morning, and completely got the fear. Some maniac in a large Post Office van came hurtling past, swerving across lane markings, and then I felt a presence behind me. I was in the cycle lane as the road narrows to go under the bridge, and looked round to see a black cab right on my wheel, in the cycle lane, obviously intent on undertaking another cab next to me, presumably to catch up with the PO van and continue the race/argument.

I bailed out at the Smithfield turning, and sort of emergency stopped, and to be honest, I don't know if the cabbie saw me, or gave a fuck.

There are some fucking maniacs out there, irrrespective of mode of transport.

Shit, sorry to hear about your accident and hope you recover soon! Just for info, you can still make a claim even if the police can't trace the driver throught an organisation called the M.I.B. Basically they compensate victims of uninsured/untraced drivers. Take care.
