hi all, maybe someone can help me with this, as my problem relates to a similar area...I should mention first that my mechanical knowledge is extremely and embarrassingly limited, but anyways...I had Condor build me up some wheels ages ago, got the asymmetric Condor hubs laced to some deep-v's...the wheels are to go on my 06 (I think) Condor Pista...the rear hub seems too wide to fit between the drop-outs...I believe that the hubs have different axle lengths, but I didn't realise this when I ordered the build, and it wasn't mentioned by the guy at Condor who sold them to me, though I am not sure if this is the issue...What can I do about this? the margin is very narrow, so perhaps I could stretch the stays just a tiny bit (which may be really dumb, I don't know), or do I need to get a new hub or what?
Any advice much appreciated, and apologies for my lacking knowledge
I too have an asymmetric Condor/Goldtech laced into a Deep V on the rear on my Condor Pista. (Good taste in bikes BTW!).
The fit is snug but a bit of brute force and supidity got it in the drop outs fine.
