i grabbed an archie wilkinson last year with the intention of building it up as a very cheap messenger bike.
the rear will accept a 700c wheel , but the dropouts are for 110. and bmx pacman style. so you'd have to spread em apart before getting it in... i was lazy and got 120mm's in...
also the forks have zero rake - we popped a road fork on it - not too much overlap. i had been thinking run a 26 on the front, but we had the above threaded fork knocking around
the headset it comes with is very low stack and crap.
the seatpost is 26.
i never actually got around to riding it unfortunately, however my buddy used it for messing on for a coupla months. fun to ride, but quite heavy.
