  • So, we have West, East, South and (sporadic) North end beers.

What about posh peeps who actually live in London proper? (yup, that'd be me)

Given how many of us probably work centrally as well, I am proposing an early doors meet up for a pint or two, before heading off to homes / polo / trixie chicks / suburban drinking sessions etc. Of course, if people want to hang around and get messy, then so much the better :-)

**Venue **- The Lamb on Lamb's Conduit St, WC1.
    **Date **- Tuesday's from May 6th, 5:30pm

  • 'tis a fine, fine pub. And happens to be my local :-)

  • Can't do this week, could be up for next week though.

  • matt i went with the hell yeah, see you tonight option as tuesdays would be a good night though actually can't make it later. got to get round to kiwi paul to pick up the polo bike (yay!). though any night is good really and like the idea of just doing it and then heading on to one of the more suburban jaunts as fancy takes.

the lamb is a great choice too, and there are plenty of railings/lampposts opposite.

    see you soon dude

  • Pretty much the same as Jonny. Like the idea just not this week..

  • Surely if you're central you should be doing your bit and riding to ALL the outlying beer nights?

  • I put myself down as a Yes, and Tuesdays are perfect, but I can't do this week. Too short notice mashton... I may be able to drink any time, but I've agreed to see other mates tonight.

  • **Central Beers -Early Doors? Tuesdays fine.
    **

  • Can't do tonight but will defo try and make it one night as I work 5mins away

  • I'm up for this... But not tonight I'm afraid

  • OK, this looks like a goer, starting from next week. I will edit the first post and ask VB to change the thread title.

    See you next week :-)

Slightly insensitive, given that I have a broken elbow and am off the bike for the foreseeable, as you well know! Cunt...

(BTW, well done on the Whitehorse, fucking impressive work.)

    @M A X - sorry, I'll pick a pub with a crèche next time ;-)

  • I'm working from home today and the Mrs is coming over later but next week I'll show up as I work about 3 mins ride away.

  • You can change the thread title.

Click Edit on the first post then Go advanced and you can edit the title.

  • Tried that - it only changes the first post title, unless I am doing it wrong...

  • i can't be there tonight until half eight... that too late d'you think?

    depends if jonny comes :-)

  • I don't know any of you but would come for a couple on a Tues if we just talk about cycling - yeah?

    all welcome, come along :-)

  • Tuesday is a rubbish day, no girls can come along. have fun people.

  • I'll pop down sometime, not being far from my office and all that...

  • Nah, it's an early evening thing Em, pop in for a cheeky one on the way to Trixie Chix. Lomg summer evenings ahead...

Anyway, what do you expect if you go and set up a fixed-wheel, yonic version of the bloody Freemasons?

    xx

  • Though a saff landan native I'm often in town on tuesdays so could pop in for an hour or so if it's early...if it's happening I'll try and make it next week.

  • Hmm,

nice pub. Round the corner from me. Summer is coming.

Count me in for one evening soon.

    Chris

  • I'm drunk again. Ignore me.
