yeah stamfords is good... but costly.
You can get a quote though if you mail them (digital@stanfords.co.uk) with a google map with the area you want and at what scale and they can send you a JPEG, dxf, pdf etc. i think the price varies for format ie jpeg is cheaper.Shin
Does anyone have a good online or other source for os style maps which show foot paths / bridleways like the explorer range 1:25 000 scale? Suitible scale for walking and moutain biking.
I usually just buy a explorer map for the area I want but if I just want to plan a route or research a new area buy a map is a bit expensive and I find the o/s site a bitch to use.
I am asking as I am planning on going to Scotland this summer and will be traveling round a bit but want to do some research and buying several maps for several areas is expensive.
So any online / electronic map ideas?
