• I wish they hadn't wanted me almost every day. :(
I really applied on a whim, and to a subject I wasn't really interested in (Biochem).
I wanted to be rejected, so i could take a gap year and do medicine.

although, you may be surprised but this might open up more doors for you through one of the graduate medical training schemes. these are shorter (4 as opposed to 5 years) and you would also be eligible for an NHS bursary, i believe, so you would get fees paid and also a small stipend (think about 2k/yr) to live on. the important thing is that you try and get some experience in "caring professions" e.g. nursing or voluntary work or whatever. if you want more help/advice then feel free to email me (i think it's in my profile) - my nick ain't d0cA for no reason at all ;-)

saying that, i am a student again now! - studying a masters and about to go onto a phd on the lowly student budgets that one can get.

anyhoooo.. about the stuff: can i get back to you tomorrow evening, please? the link you posted is very helpful but i need to check a few bits such as my cranks and read the link again properly etc. i am also still interested in the saddle too, so hope you can wait until tomorrow for me to make a decision about that - appreciate that you have given me first dibs.

thanks again for all the help!
