Track Pumps

I had it on good authority (from my favorite sociologist) that these pumps were originally used by slaves, favored for their cheapness and simplicity. These slaves then escaped to NewYork, a city well noted for it love of the latest ethnic craze, where the craze then caught on and soon the world was "rocking" the track pump.
