Dia-Compe Double-Sided Brake Lever / Shot Lever

Was looking at a mag yesterday and saw a picture of a double-sided brake lever for use on fixed wheel bikes to allow you to use either hand to brake. Did google for an image but couldn't find one. Looks pretty tidy though. Apologies if this is already posted.

Do you mean that you can use the lever as a right or left lever by flipping it over ?

Who rides with their hands that close to the centre of the bars? So when you want to brake, you're going to have to move one of your hands anyway. Why not just move the same one?

Ok, you might want to signal. Well put the lever on the left handside, so when you signal right you can still brake. Turning left? Don't bother signaling, most people don't.

why not use a bmx/ mtb style cross lever that pulls cable, and an interrupter that pushes the housing on the other side?

not really about this thread what I want to ask, but need to order a inner brake cable for a diatech tech 77 lever but can anyone help with what cable I need, Is it XTR or SLR road? I know what this means in terms of the end of the cable, but i don't know which is which. thanks alot.

Any BMX /MTB cable inner will be fine - XTR / Cheapo / etc.

I think I hate it. Can't people just pick a dominant brake hand? I find it pretty ugly compared to something like just a single inline lever, or the paul e-lever.
